LANDSCAPES
When I see a scene that really grabs me, it takes a bit of discipline and quiet contemplation to determine just what it is that is impelling me to paint it. Is it the light, the color, the sense of spaciousness or intimacy that is primary? Once this becomes obvious, I can begin moving my brush.
